Our philosophical approach
We operate on the premise that for a truly successful outcome, every project must be tailor-made to the client's particular needs. We consider and embrace the significant site conditions, maximise the outlook, views and siting of the building envelope available and, contemplate the relationship of the proposed building to its surroundings and adjacent properties, along with the environment in general.
Our thoughtful planning
Throughout the design process we extensively explore the design approaches in order to provide multiple options, culminating in the ideal solution - and all included in a standard scale of fees.
Our practical delivery
All sketching is undertaken manually, facilitating a free hand in the detailing of every job to achieve a unique bespoke outcome, unencumbered by standard or repetitive design elements. Simple construction techniques familiar to small builders are employed, thus keeping construction costs to a reasonable level.

Supporting the Principal Architect, the Practice currently has one Architect, one Interior Designer, three Drafts people and one Administrator.

Award winning Pauline Hurren is the Principal Architect of the Practice. Pauline has a 'hands-on' approach, personally being involved in the hand-crafting of tailor-made design solutions.
Acclaimed for her work in stone and historic re-adaption design, Pauline has been in practice for more than 40 years. She is recognised for Service to Architecture being awarded the '2005 Sir James Irwin RAIA President's Medal for Exemplary Service to and Promotion of the profession of Architecture.'
Rosanna Hurren

With over 20 years experience, Rosanna is our interior architecture specialist. Rosanna is also our on site manager ensuring architectural plans translate to a precise, to-specification build.
Melissa Hurren
Bachelor of Interior Architecture
Melissa is our Interior Designer and Practice Manager.
